Canadian Rocky Mountains — Marmot Falls

Hiking up to Marmot Falls was a moving experience. Standing at the edge of that clear pool felt almost surreal - the water pouring over the ledge of stacked limestone, the moss glowing along the rock, the forest rising overhead. My photos captured the scene, but not the feeling I carried away from it. So I gave this image a surreal edge, to show the falls the way they felt in that moment. I hope it brings a little of that feeling into your home.
