An old hay mower, put out to pasture and slowly disappearing into the tall summer grass of a New Brunswick hayfield. Its rust-brown iron wheels and pressed-steel seat stand out against a deep blue sky — a quiet reminder of how hay was cut, one horse-drawn pass at a time, not so long ago.
Photographed on film near Woodstock, New Brunswick, around 1992. A companion to No More Mowing and Retired Hay Rake.
Available as a Poster, Canvas print, Metal Framed Poster, or Acrylic Print — each in 12x18" and 16x24". The poster is printed on 200 gsm semi-glossy paper with a subtle sheen that lifts colour and resists fading.
